The HYRAD Technology "real time damper" has been demonstrated to be adjustable at 60 Hz (that's 120 full range excursions in one second) using a low cost pressure regulating valve that is normally used to regulate pressure in electronically controlled automatic transmissions. Pressure control servo valves can be tuned for response up to 200 Hz (that would be 400 full range excursions in one second, or 2-1/2 ms per excursion).
