The "coil-over" shock absorber has become the standard item for the suspension of street rods and specialty vehicles. HYRAD is developing and testing aluminum-bodied coil-overs incorporating the HYRAD Technology for these applications. Shown here are prototype shocks of this type. The outside surface of these shocks will be available either anodized for normal use or polished for show car use. Remote control will be optional and can be added later at any time.

So that these coil-overs will be adaptable to virtually all street rod and specialty vehicle applications, they will be available with these features and options:

• Threaded bodies for spring seat height adjustment.
• Spherical bearing or polyurethane bushing end mounts (interchangeable).
• Standard stroke lengths of 3", 5", 7" & 9"
• Balanced valving F&R at each setting.
• Wide selection of spring rates.
